Also, what would be the correct answer for the charmable pet question? Technically you encounter the moa bird first, but you don't get the charm pet skill until you do the skill quest, and the first charmable pet you encounter there is a melandru's stalker. So the first pet you encounter that is tamable is the moa bird, yet the first pet you can actually tame (barring any cheated ranger tomes) is the melandru's stalker.
